Yuzu and smokey flavours are a match made in heaven, making Mezcal and Scotch particularly good pairings for the Yuzu & Thyme formula. The agave notes in the Mezcal are nicely accentuated by the organic agave in Muzai. This cocktail works well when using 50% tequila, 50% mezcal as the spirit base, ensuring the smokiness is hinted rather than overbearing.
INGREDIENTS
MUZAI Yuzu & Thyme -100ml
Mezcal - 25ml
Tequila - 25ml
METHOD
1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake for 12 seconds
2. Fine strain into a short glass of ice
3. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel
